Caleb's first vacation! A trip to Catalina Island. We took a ferry boat ride to visit Daddy. Caleb had his first golf cart ride and first trip to the beach.

Our own little Easter Bunny! We had fun celebrating our 1st holiday together with Caleb! He's definitely not going to appreciate this picture being shown to future girlfriends! To us, he is our pride and joy, even in bunny attire!

2 week update!

On Sunday, Caleb was already 2 weeks old! He is such a sweet baby. We have had many visitors over the past few weeks. We have tried to get out a few times over the past week. We made 3 trips to dinner with my parents this week and Caleb was a very good boy. He slept most of the time. We also made a few trips to Target too. It is amazing how much planning needs to be done before heading out into the real world...between feeding times and his sleeping schedule, as well as packing up the car. It is all fun though and I am getting more comfortable going out. On Sunday we went to visit our friends Dustin and Justine and their new bundle of joy, Rylin. We were all able to enjoy dinner with very little baby disruptions and then we went out for a walk around Canyon Lake. It was nice being able to get out of the house. On Monday, Jared left for another week in Catalina. He is trying to get me out there in the next few weeks. We will have to see how that all works out.

Surviving another week!

Another week has gone by and I survived with the help of my mom, sister, and Jennifer while Jared was gone! Yesterday we went on a night out to dinner at Red Robin and to Target! Our Friday nights have definitely changed. Caleb isn't on a schedule yet...they say it will take time. I have him sleeping in his bassinet more and he is sleeping a bit longer in during the night. So I am thankful to get a little more sleep.
